The Ape Exchange involves a toy ape being sent to you from the project. After working with you for a period of time the ape is sent back to the project organisers with information that can be included on the web site.
During its stay you can involve it in all your great ape activities.

Some of the things you can do are:

• give the ape a name
• take photos of the ape helping you work on the project
• take the ape home to meet your families
• collect writings and artworks for the ape to bring home
• have the ape write on the Great Apes iEARN forum
• anything else you would like to do
