Dear Faizan,

I am so glad that you feel so forcefully about this issue. For a couple years I have worked with an anti-sweatshop/ anti-child labor youth group. I live in New York City and here people don't really know what's going on in terms of child labor.

I have not seen child labor firsthand, but I agree that children belong in schools and not suffering in horrible work conditions.

I think the best way to end child labor is to spread the word about the companies who use this kind of labor. We need to talk to the people in our home countries to get them aware and upset about what is going on.

What are your suggestions for trying to end child labor?
