CHILD LABOUR
By: Amber Virani

Everyday early in the morning; when we look around the bus stop we see a lot of children in neat and clean dresses, waiting for their school buses. On the other hand there are many childran wearing torn clothes with a rotten bag on their back collecting trash. Although both are innocent children, living in one country, in one city, even in one area but why are they different from each other?

Who is guilty for this difference? Who is responsible for these children, who are without good and tidy clothes, without breakfast, even without a home? These children also have the same rights like the children with beautiful homes and every facility of life. But why is this difference?? There are many factors involved in these differences:

1. Parents:
Parents are an important source of support for their children. They are responsible for their education and care but the parents of poor children are usually not alive and if they are alive then they have a big family, with lots of children and it is not easy with then so raising them all alone so they beg for food and for money and they ask their children to do the same.

2. Government:
Government is also responsible for this difference. Due to bad economy, the government have no funds to send these poor children in schools and provide them every facility and to support the needy parents to educate their children.

3. Increasing Population:
The major factor responsible for the difference is increasing population. Due to this population it is not easy for a local person to get employed and so this unemployment of the adults is the reason that they send their young children to search for a work and search for food and not for education.
