Suzan by Nanis and Sarah, Ramses College, Cairo - Egypt

Suzan is a girl who's 8 years old. Her father is a hard-hearted man. Once he had a quarrel with her mother and he hit her until she fell on the floor, and now she uses a wheel chair. Suzan was watching their usual quarrels from a distance.

She felt very afraid and she wanted to have someone to save her from this horrible situation. At this time her younger brother got the tuberculosis. Suzan and her mother were worried and needed money for her brother. During this time the father left them alone and never came back.

The mother had an only solution, which was to send Suzan to work as a house servant. Her mistress was always hitting her and she got many deep scars, but she was always patient only to bring her brother's medicines.

Unfortunately, by the end of each month, Suzan goes to her mistress to get her salary, but her mistress refuses to give her any money. Her mother and brother are always asking for money.

What can Suzan do? She thought that she could leave this house and go to work in any other house. It took her a week to take the decision, because she has no other option. Two days ago, she received a telephone call, informing her of the death of her mother. Her brother is so ill and if he didn't receive medical treatment, he'll die as well.

How many children are suffering like Suzan????

How many are forced to bear responsibilities beyond their years??

They need our help and fast....

Please share your suggestions with us.
