The lovely little rose
by Sarah Magdy

The lovely little rose
You have seen him,
Yes, I'm sure you have seen him.
He's the one polishing your shoes,
But he can't have one.
He's the one making you sweet lovely toys,
But he hasn't played once.
His childhood, his lovely little rose,
Is dying and he isn't the cause.
His hard life,
Is like a new sharp knife,
Cutting the rose into pieces,
Pieces hard to gather,
And making him feel cold and afraid,
What so ever was the weather.
And then he lives in grief,
After burring the rose in its grave.
And as he became far not close,
He saw another boy burring his rose.......
