Glad to hear from you.
Well Dear friends often we remain unaware of the problems faced by our fellow
human beings residing in other countries. The citizens of under developing
countries face a lot of hardship. In countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh
, Nepal etc. Human rights are violated to extreme level.
Children and women are not given due consideration and respect . They are
treated worst than stray dogs. They work hard to earn their bread and butter
and they are not even given due respect. They are just like fishes in the
clutches of men.
I do not hesitate in saying that these countries are ruled by men who have
no feelings for children and women they are not considered as humans. Children
are the worst affected all they face is hardship. Since in these countries
there is inequal distribution of wealth the rich are very rich and the poor
are very poor. The children of rich people have all the luxuries of life where
as the children of poor people work day and night to earn their food and help
their parents. The doors of education are closed on them. Although I have
observed that majority of these children want to go to school but their circumstances
do not allow them to do so.
If you take the example of Pakistan here 80 % of the total population cinsists
of low class families where as only twent percent belongs to the upper class.
So you can imagine the literacy rate here its not even 15 percent. If you
roam in the streets of Karachi you will find countless innocent young hands
stretched infront of you asking for money. There are countless children who
work day and night at tailoring shops, dens, garment factories, football industries,
carpet weaving industry.
The worst part is that many children are yearly smuggled to Saudi Arabia and
gulf states as camel jockeys.
The story I shared is only one story daily countless children face such hardships.
There are such brutal stories that I cant even feel up to the mark of sharing
it with others.
But you know its no use just to write about all this when u really cant do
anything to help them.
But maybe we might be of some help by spreading awareness about such children
who knows?????
Best regards,
Sarah
