Poem On Child Labour
Oh! parents,why use child labour
to exploit your own children,
See what you have done to our
brothers and sisters.
From north to south, east to west we have
Seen it, we are aware poverty and broken
Homes are some of the causes of the
Child labour disease but should not be it.
Parents sit down and watch their sons and
daughters.
As they struggle by the roadside
Like the eagle that hasteth to eat.
As if they are not aware.
What can they do when poverty greets them
every now and then.
There they are on the streets selling
All kinds of items you can think of.
Others in the market places , pushing
trucks and carry goods here and there.
As if they are happy with they do
But how they wish they were not.
