Bairnsdale Secondary College

Bairnsdale Secondary College students are involved in the Child Labour Project which is part of I*EARN.

We are holding a sausage sizzle in Bairnsdale to help raise money to buy schooling supplies such as pens, pencils, paper, textas and coloured pencils. All of these donations will be going to the children of East Timor to let them have a chance to go to schools and have an education.

There are local primary schools involved. Each of the schools is collecting boxes of schooling equipment and for that we are thankful.

Last year was a success and I'm proud to say that this year is going to be as well.

With supplies donated by Bairnsdale businesses we were able to raise $330 all of which will be used to buy school supplies to be used by Sister Lourdes.

As well as the money from the sausage sizzle, the College Students' Representative Council has contributed $100.
